LASH EXTENSION AFTER CARE

Care and proper maintenance of your new eyelash extensions is important for longer lasting, beautiful lashes. Eyelashes shed normally. Many factors can affect how long your extensions will last.

Follow these tips for best results:

​

• Do not get your lashes wet within the first 24 hours after application.

• It is best to avoid swimming, saunas or steam rooms for the first 24 hours. (48 for best results)

• Avoid oil based eye products, as these will loosen the bond of your extensions.

• Sleep on your back to avoid uneven shedding of extensions.

• Keep your eye area and lashes clean by regular washing with a gentle soap and water (Mix a baby wash with water to gently clean) Blot dry

• Avoid using waterproof mascara.

• Do not pick, pull, rub, use an eyelash curler, perm or tint your extensions.

• Recommend returning for a re-lash application within 2-3 weeks to replace any outgrown lashes.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Remove All Eye Makeup
Removing eye makeup prior to your appointment will let the stylist concentrate on the application process as removing make up can be time consuming. Stylist will cleanse the skin prior to the application making sure the is no natural oils or debris remaining. 
Avoid wearing eye makeup to your appointment. Remove mascara, eyeliner, and other eye makeup before coming in.
Please do not use manual eyelash curler on your lashes prior to your visit.

Q: HOW LONG DOES EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?

A: YOUR OWN LASHES GROW FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 DAYS AND HAVE A LIFE SPAN OF 2-3 MONTHS. AFTER AN EYELASH EXTENSION APPLICATION, THE LASHES WILL LAST APPROXIMATELY UP TO 2-3 MONTHS WITH REGULAR MAINTENANCE. THE EYELASH EXTENSION WILL FALL OFF WHEN THE NATURAL EYELASH SHEDS. ITS RECOMMENDED FOR THE FIRST RE-VISIT TO TAKE PLACE APPROXIMATELY 2-3 WEEKS AFTER THE ORIGINAL APPLICATION.

Q: CAN I WEAR MAKEUP AND CLEANSE MY FACE WHILST WEARING EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

A: YES YOU CAN HOWEVER, LASHES SHOULD NOT BE IN CONTACT WITH WATER WITHIN 24H AFTER APPLICATION. FACIAL STEAMING, RUBBING EYES OR TAKING A STEAM BATH IS NOT RECOMMENDED WITHIN 24 hours OF PROCESS. CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN USING SKINCARE PRODUCTS AS THE MAY CONTAIN OILS WHICH AFFECTS THE BONDING OF FAKE EYELASHES.
ALSO FOR A LONGER LASTING RESULT;
DON’T USE WATERPROOF MASCARA ON EYELASHES AS THE MAKEUP REMOVER DESIGNED FOR THOSE WILL AFFECT THE BONDS OF YOUR LASH EXTENSIONS 
~DO NOT USE EYELASH CURLER AS THOSE WILL BREAK BOTH FAKE AND NATURAL LASHES.
~DO NOT RUB EYES WHEN WASHING YOUR FACE, ALWAYS PAT DRY EYES AFTER CLEANSING.

Q:HOW LONG DOES THE APPLICATION TAKE?

A: AN APPLICATION OF EYELASH EXTENSIONS TAKES BETWEEN 45MIN-2.5HRS DEPENDING ON THE CLIENTS REQUEST OF VOLUME AND DESIRED LOOK

Q: WILL THE EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY OWN LASHES?

A: NO, not if applied properly by a licensed and experienced professional
